About Vinny

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Vinny has had a tough journey in his four years and truly deserves the very best home. As a resilient tripod, he never lets his disability slow him down. Arriving at the shelter as a puppy with a poorly healed back leg, he underwent amputation and quickly adapted to life on three legs. Shortly after, Vinny was adopted and spent a year with his loving owner until unforeseen illness brought him back to the shelter. Now, he waits patiently, dreaming of a new forever home with a family who can give him the calm and affection he craves. Vinny shines as an only pet and thrives in a home with older children. He adores toys, enjoys going for walks, and approaches every day with the energy and joy of any four-legged dog—he still runs, chases, and plays to his heart’s content. What Vinny truly needs is a peaceful home where he can feel secure and bonded with his people. He’s a wonderful companion eager to share his love. If you’re ready to give this special boy the happy ending he’s been waiting for, visit him at the Spartanburg Humane Society and let him steal your heart. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
