About Leo
Leo is a striking, large black cat with a shiny short coat who makes quite the entrance. His favorite way to say hello is by rubbing against you—legs, arms, whatever he can reach. Leo is chatty, often using trills and a melodic meow to get your attention, and curiosity seems to be his default mode. You’ll often find him perched on a windowsill, watching the world go by and keeping an eye on everything. Brushing is a big win for Leo, especially since he likes to chew on the brush between strokes. He enjoys being petted and will play with wand toys, but, like many cats, he can get a bit overstimulated, especially with other cats around. He tends to prefer being the only feline in the home so he can have his person all to himself. Leo isn’t a fan of being picked up; he likes to be in control of where he goes. His former owner shared that he needs chicken-free food, as he has a sensitivity. If you appreciate a spunky cat with presence who isn’t shy about owning the room, Leo is your guy.
