AvailableSam is a young, medium-sized Domestic Short Hair cat living in Minnetonka, MN. He is 2 years and 1 month old, neutered, fully vaccinated, and house trained. He has no special needs, and his brief time as a stray has shaped his temperament to be cautious but loving once he trusts you.
About Sam
Sam has come a long way from his days as a nervous stray kitten with his brothers. He remains a timid cat, needing time and patience to build trust with new people, but he enjoys being brushed and petted by those he knows. Quick movements or unfamiliar faces still make him uneasy, so he’ll need understanding adopters who offer reassurance instead of pressure. Sam gets along with most cats—especially his brother Riley—and coexists peacefully with the adult male cat in his foster home. While not a fan of the resident adult female cat, he tolerates the large, mellow dog without trouble. Sam has passed a full vet check, is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and is current on vaccinations. Born April 13, Sam is an Aries, so that may explain some of his stubborn streak. He’s looking for a quiet home with gentle humans who’ll give him the time he needs. What are you waiting for?
