She was discovered alone in a wood pile at just four weeks old by a caring family dog, who, along with the family, nurtured her until she could be placed in a loving foster home. Despite her early challenges, Rio is proving to be an affectionate and cuddly companion. She is currently learning how to socialize with other cats in her foster environment and quickly becoming more comfortable around people. Given her positive interactions with both dogs and cats, Rio would likely thrive in a home with another friendly pet for companionship. If you are looking for a gentle kitten who enjoys cuddles, Rio may be the perfect fit for your family. She has received a comprehensive wellness exam, is microchipped, has been spayed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and is up to date on vaccinations.
