About Rio

Rio is the newest addition to the rescue scene after being discovered alone in a wood pile at just four weeks old—the family dog found her, and she spent the next three months being cared for in a loving environment. While their other dog wasn’t keen on having her around, Rio settled in and has started getting to know other cats in her foster home; she's picking up on social cues quickly and adjusting well. She’s especially sweet and highly affectionate, happy to curl up for cuddles when given the chance. Rio will thrive in a home where she can bond with another pet, whether it’s a gentle dog or another cat, as she’s quite social. She’s received a thorough wellness exam, is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and her vaccinations are up to date. Rio is living in Minnetonka, MN, and is looking for a family ready for a long-term companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
