About Sweetpea

Sweetpea is a young, spirited cat with a playful streak. She adores your company and comes running when it’s time for brushing and pats, but she draws a clear line when it comes to being carried—she prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. If you want a buddy who will sprawl next to you on the couch or climb into bed for a nap, Sweetpea fits the bill. She’s still under a year old and eager for a home where friendship means hanging out, not being toted around. She was recently rescued from a rural packing shed, and while she was fed, the diet wasn’t ideal, leaving her short coat a bit rough—though it already shows unique orange flecks on her brown and rust tabby pattern. With good food and care, her coat will soon be as soft as you'd expect. Sweetpea gets along well with other cats and would also do fine as a solo pet if you’re around often. Her health is excellent: she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and ready to settle in. As for dogs, she hasn't lived with any yet, but would likely adapt to a calm, cat-friendly pup with proper introductions. Your new best friend is just one click away.
