About Kat

Kat lost her home to a hurricane and has been searching for her sense of safety ever since. She’s a quirky, independent spirit with what can only be called a 'roommate' vibe—she might be grouchy for a couple weeks after a change, but once she’s comfortable, she turns into a low-maintenance, playful sidekick. Laser pointers and swizzle sticks grab her attention, and a high cat tree is her favorite observation spot. Kat prefers canned food in reasonable amounts and values a peaceful household with people who understand how to give her space as she adjusts. She gets along with other cats and is calm around small dogs, but large households or young children aren’t her speed. For someone who understands that cats sometimes take time to show their true selves, Kat is ready to reward that patience. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
