About Eddie
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Eddie draws you in with his handsome, photogenic looks, but don’t be fooled—he’s not your typical lap cat! With his bold personality, Eddie always lets you know exactly how he’s feeling. He was adopted as a kitten into a lively home with young children, where his spirited nature became apparent, though he tried to adjust. When his previous family faced tough circumstances, Eddie was surrendered at age four. This change was tough on him, and it took months before he felt comfortable again. Now that Eddie has settled in, he’s curious, interactive, and enjoys company, but only on his own terms. Eddie is sensitive to overstimulation, so he’s looking for a cat-savvy adopter who understands feline body language and boundary-setting. While he might be able to live with one laid-back feline friend, Eddie would really thrive as the only pet. He’s not a match for households with young children, but a calm, adult-only home would be ideal. If you believe in loving cats just as they are, Eddie may be the companion you’ve been searching for. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
