Taboo
AvailableTaboo is a male Belgian Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix, around 4 years and 7 months old, living in Waynesville, GA. He is a medium-sized, neutered adult dog who does not get along with cats or children, but is good with other dogs. With a rescue background, he's looking for a committed and patient adopter to help him thrive.
About Taboo
Taboo has a spark for life, but growing up without much human contact left him feral. He never acts aggressive and even shows a softer side to the people he’s grown used to—but he won’t let anyone approach or touch him. With time, he’s gone from hiding in the shadows to quietly following around the rescue owner and familiar volunteers in a group. He needs a special adopter ready to spend months or more at a slow pace, building trust bit by bit. For now, he’s safe at the rescue, waiting until someone patient steps forward. Taboo’s siblings, Breeze and Buddie, are also at the rescue, while another shy brother, Roman, is in foster. Taboo does not get along with cats or young children but gets along with other dogs. If you think you’re ready for the commitment he needs, you’ll give a deserving dog a second chance. This could be the start of something paw-some.
