About Reece Whiskerspoon
Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. Meet Reece Whiskerspoon! This sweet adult cat has made impressive progress since arriving in foster care last January. Once feral, she now allows her foster mom to pet her and will even lay on her belly for gentle affection—an inspiring sign of trust-building and a gentle heart. While there's still a little way to go, Reece has proven she's capable of forming bonds and even allows herself to be picked up at times (though she may be startled if rushed). She's searching for a kind-hearted human with plenty of patience and understanding who can offer her the time and space she needs to truly blossom. Reece thrives in a calm environment where she is given respect and the chance to come around at her own pace. She gets along well with other cats, especially those she knows, and is gradually learning to socialize with new feline friends. Reece would love a caring home where her boundaries are honored—and in return, she’ll reward you with trust and the joy of watching her continue to open up. Fun fact: With her birthday on August 15, Reece is a Leo! Leos are often known for their courage and big personalities, which shines through as she continues building trust every day.
