About Sunshine
Sunshine is a 3-year-old Dalmatian/mixed breed who came from a feral colony in Waynesville, GA. She was brought in as a mother caring for puppies—most of whom, sadly, she lost to severe flea and parasite anemia despite her dedication. The surviving pups were adopted, and now Sunshine is ready for a place of her own. She's spayed and vaccinated, fully house trained, and uses a doggy door with ease. Sunshine is food motivated and learns quickly, but she is very shy with new people. She'll need a patient adopter willing to give her real time to come out of her shell. Crate training is already second nature to her. Sunshine does well with dogs but does not get along with cats or young children, so a quieter, adult-only household would be ideal. Her adoption fee is fully waived for the right match. Fun fact: Sunshine is an Aquarius, a sign known for its gentle independence. Make her next chapter a secure one. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Sunshine
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Sunshine, being a Dalmatian/mixed breed, is usually happiest in a home with regular engagement and some room to stretch out. These dogs do best in households that offer structure and patience, especially since Sunshine is shy and needs time to adjust.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A Dalmatian/mixed breed like Sunshine benefits from access to a fenced yard or regular outdoor walks, but she will be content as long as she gets time outside to exercise. She's not a candidate for apartment living unless the owner is very active with her.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While many Dalmatians and mixed breeds can get along with respectful older children, Sunshine herself does not get along with children and would be best placed in an adult-only home.
