About Jaxon
Jaxon, formerly known as Cheddar, has bounced between homes and could use some patience and understanding as he settles back into family life. He started out as a bright, outgoing puppy but was returned after only a few months, and now he's more reserved. Despite this, he's still a loving, goofy guy who lights up around people he trusts. He especially adores young children and was extremely bonded to his previous toddler companion. Jaxon is thriving in his foster home, playing with other dogs, getting along well with cats, and charming everyone with his signature pout and those ridiculous derpy faces when his lip sticks up. He’d do best in a home with another confident dog who can help him adjust and keep teaching him how to be himself. Jaxon's early life was rough—he was found lost in the street, hungry and infested with fleas, but things have turned around. Now his playful and food-loving attitude shines through, and he's finally enjoying a puppyhood filled with silly antics. If you’ve got the patience to help a shy soul blossom and maybe a playful doggy sibling to show him the ropes, Jaxon could be the best fit you didn’t expect. Oh, and as a Virgo born on September 8, he’s observant, loyal, and always searching for his place in the world. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
