About Jake

Jake is a big, lovable goof who finds endless amusement chasing after anything that catches his eye—bugs, lizards, you name it. Although he rarely catches his targets, he’s always up for the thrill of the chase. When Jake first arrived, he was in rough shape: underweight, his skin a mess, the years hadn’t been kind. Thanks to proper food and consistent care, he’s filled out and grown into a striking, affectionate dog who wants nothing more than a caring home. Jake gets along well with other dogs but is not a match for homes with cats. He’s earned comfort and safety after so many hard years. His sun sign is Sagittarius, which means Jake brings curiosity and optimism everywhere he goes. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
