About Ted
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Ted, a gentle Pug/Terrier mix who has blossomed in foster care. Standing at 18lbs and around 6 years old, Ted is both sweet and shy, but each day brings new confidence. He loves tagging along for city strolls, sitting patiently at your feet, or snoozing quietly while you work. Snacks—especially French fries—are a highlight, and he adores casual grazing and chewing on his stick. Ted enjoys observing the world from a window and follows his foster through the home, always curious and hoping for a treat. Though initially wary in new social encounters, Ted shows potential to thrive with another friendly dog, especially in the comfort of a home. While he adapts well to walkabouts or urban adventures, a backyard to explore isn’t required, just appreciated. You’ll find him patient when left alone, curling up for a peaceful nap until you return. Ted is house trained and thrives best with someone seeking a quieter, slower lifestyle. His only special care need is daily heart medication, which he takes like a champ (especially with a bit of parmesan!). Ted is eligible for foster-to-adopt if you’d like to help him transition from foster to forever home. If you’re ready to offer love, patience, and a steady routine, Ted promises to be an excellent companion and new best friend. All Social Tees animals are in foster homes, not at the office, and Ted is waiting for the right person to help him start his next adventure. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
