Ted is a shy, sweet Pug/Terrier mix about 10 to 12 years old and around 18 lbs. He’s still learning how to settle into home life, but every day, he gets a little more confident and curious. Ted likes to quietly observe his people and follow them around, just in case a treat appears. Meals are polite affairs—he grazes through the day and especially loves a french fry when out at a café. Most of his time is spent napping on the sofa, occasionally taking a break to chew a stick or gaze out the window. Ted is patient when left alone and doesn’t mind curling up for a nap or quietly watching people go by. He can be skittish about being picked up in public, so carrying a tote or carrier is a good idea for city outings. While Ted’s still shy around new dogs outside, he warms up to pup companions at home. He’s house trained and adjusts well to different routines and environments, making him suitable for life in the city or suburbs. Ted is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines and requires daily medication for pulmonary hypertension. He’s happiest in a home with a calm pace, perhaps with another gentle dog.
