Meet Cassidy, an adorable and sweet young dog who is full of love and in need of a forever home. Cassidy was found with his mom, dad, and sibling, and has since been looking for a loving family to take him in. Unfortunately, Cassidy was the victim of a terrible attack, in which his back left leg was violently amputated with a machete or kitchen knife. He was fortunate to have received immediate medical attention, and is now healthy once more. Despite his traumatic experience, Cassidy is a gentle and loving dog. However, he is a little nervous around new people and needs some time to warm up. He would do best in a quiet home where he can feel safe, and eventually, comfortable with his new family.
