She is house trained and spayed/neutered, with vaccinations up to date. Living at SoCal Animal Rescue Squad (SCARS), she has special needs related to her seizure disorder. She’s friendly with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a loving and adaptable companion.

Butterscotch is a 1-year-old Papillon/Corgi mix weighing about 12 pounds, and she’s overcome so much already. She bravely manages a seizure disorder, including occasional grand mal and more frequent focal seizures, and is currently exploring new treatments to find the most effective care. Butterscotch thrives in a loving foster home where someone is present at all times, alongside other friendly dogs. Her ideal forever family will be experienced dog owners who have plenty of patience and dedication to maintain her medication routine and help her navigate her unique challenges. Butterscotch is gentle, treat-motivated, and adores chew toys. This happy girl gets along wonderfully with children, dogs, and cats, and she always brings warmth, love, and joy to those around her.
