About Bobby – A Survivor
Bobby – A Survivor isn’t just any Labrador mix; he’s proof that resilience can be joyful. Now about two years old, Bobby’s come a long way from being left injured and alone in the woods before his first birthday. His body recovered from a brutal accident—a broken pelvis, a deep leg wound—but what’s really remarkable is how his spirit bounced back. There’s not a trace of a limp when he runs after a ball or leaps for a hug. Bobby loves nothing more than time with people or piling on the couch for a cuddle. He’s gentle and affectionate, happiest when part of a playful pack, yet just as settled snuggling quietly with his family. Bobby’s crate-trained and content sleeping in his crate at night. He gets along with other dogs and even cats, which makes life easier for multi-pet homes. However, Bobby’s got a playful habit of jumping when excited, so a home without very young children or fragile seniors is best. He’s always been around his siblings and would be glad to go home with one, but he’s fine solo too. What matters is a household willing to give him both love and structure. He’s already neutered and up to date on vaccinations, but continued training will help channel his energy. Anyone adopting Bobby will find a companion whose loyalty was forged the hard way.
