About Opie & Jax
Start your journey together! Apply now. Opie & Jax are an adorable bonded pair of small Chihuahua mixes looking for a loving forever home together. Both are 7-year-old neutered males—Opie is white and grey, while Jax is white and black. Their previous owner, sadly unable to keep caring for them due to health issues, made the difficult decision to surrender them so they could enjoy happier lives. These brothers have lived side by side since birth and share a special bond, often leaning on each other for comfort. They are house trained, though may mark when stressed, especially in new situations—patience and belly bands will help during the transition. They are good with older, respectful children and other dogs, but prefer a home without small kids or large dogs. They will also need a fenced yard or regular leash walks and may howl when first left alone until they settle in. Both are sweet and loving boys who will thrive in a quieter home where they can be spoiled with attention. Opie & Jax are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and heartworm negative. They are currently being fostered in Raymond, OH and are ready to be your new best friends! Think you are the one? Submit an application!
