About Dixie
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Dixie is a truly precious medium-sized girl, weighing around 40 to 45 pounds. At 6 years old, she is a gentle soul who can be a bit timid at first, so she thrives in a calm, patient home where she can build trust at her own pace. Once she opens up, you'll find her to be incredibly affectionate—eager for snuggles and always wanting to be right next to her favorite people! Dixie does beautifully with other dogs and would love a confident canine companion to help her feel more secure and playful. Her submissive nature makes her a wonderful playmate, and she has excellent house manners, being completely house trained and comfortable in her crate. Consistency and caring guidance are all she needs to become even more confident and blossom into the loving companion she truly is. If you’re at least 25 years old and ready for a loyal, loving friend, Dixie is waiting to meet you. Fun fact: With a birthday of February 20th, Dixie is a Pisces, which means she’ll bring intuition and a gentle, caring spirit to your home! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
