- Affectionate - Athletic - Clever - Communicative - Curious - Food-Motivated - Goofy - Playful - Quirky - Hi my name is Mantis! I was living in a garden shed with my mom Gamora until some neighbors were able to bring us both into a foster home! I can be shy and nervous at first with new people and new situations, but I'm naturally curious and playful, so I warm up pretty quickly, especially if you offer me some treats or wet food! - I've never met a toy I didn't like, but I especially love spring toys, jingle balls, and tunnels! I love it when my foster parents throw toys for me to chase, stalk, and pounce. If you have a window I can sit in, you'll probably find me there birdwatching regularly when I need a break from playing! - I would love to have another kitten or a friendly cat to play with! There are 2 resident cats in my foster home, and there's nothing better than playing with them! My foster sister isn't very friendly, and while I still try to make some friendly advances, I respect her boundaries and listen when she tells me she needs space. I've only met 1 dog, which was pretty scary, but if you have a cat-savvy dog who will give me time, I think I would warm up. I've never been around kids. I think they might scare me a little at first if they're very boisterous, but I love people and I love anyone who will play with me! - I'm still a kitten, so I've got lots and lots of energy and I'm learning how to be a well-behaved girl. There's so much playing to do, sometimes it's hard for me to take a break! I'm learning how to play nicely with hands. I'm good about not using my claws, and if I bite a little too hard, just say "ow" and I'll back off...at least for a minute! I've never had an accident outside my litter box. I have discovered that splashing in the water dish can be super fun, so I might need you to put down a towel! - I'm a smart, affectionate, and social girl. I just want to find a home that will play with me, help me keep learning good manners, and love me. When I've run out of energy playing, I might even come snuggle up with you! But whatever we're doing, you'll hear me purring, just happy to be spending time with you!
