About Ivy
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Ivy, a delightful southern girl ready for her forever home! Ivy is approximately 8 years old and was rescued from a shelter after enduring a horribly large mass on her chest, which has since been removed. Despite her previous hardships, she has a heartwarming personality and perfect manners. Ivy is completely housebroken and does just about anything for a treat, sitting pretty and enjoying her snack time. She absolutely loves her walks and is always ready to accompany you on an adventure, but she’s just as happy curling up on a cozy dog bed, a comfy human bed, or even on your lap for a relaxing TV binge. Ivy is wonderfully affectionate and adores her human friends—she’s over the moon for attention, and if you pause the ear rubs, expect some gentle, loving kisses urging you to continue. She’s the ideal balance of active and laid-back, making her both a loyal cuddle companion and an excited sidekick for outings. Ivy travels well in the car, always eager for fun rides. While she prefers to be the only dog in your home, she makes up for it by having a ton of love to share. As a Cancer, Ivy is naturally intuitive and caring, often seeking closeness and comfort with those she loves. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
