About Shifu
Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. You won't find many dogs like Shifu! This stunning, purebred, meatmouth, chocolate dilute Shar-Pei stands out with his striking red or auburn brushcoat and a gorgeous corkscrew tail. Thanks to being fully vetted, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention, he is ready for his next adventure. Shifu is house trained, quiet, well-mannered at home, and walks well on leash. He's a quick learner, eager to please, and knows basic commands. True to his breed, he has a hint of independence but is always curious and wants to be close to his people—just not necessarily on your lap. Shifu excels with other dogs and does well with children of any age. He is progressing nicely with cats and already leaves them alone most of the time. Silly, friendly, and just the right mix of playful and chill, Shifu brings a gentle humor and easygoing fun to every day. He especially enjoys exploring the yard with other dogs and makes a fantastic companion for individuals or families. Transport may be arranged anywhere in the country where resources allow—just ask! Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Fun fact: with a birthday of June 30, Shifu is a Cancer, which means he is likely to be caring, loyal, and tuned in to the feelings of those he loves.
