About Toven
Toven has a way of looking at people that stops you in your tracks: open, hopeful, completely devoted. He came from a tough background locally but still gives his whole heart to those he trusts. Around two years old, he’s a mix—houndish features with the distinctive Saint Bernard coloring. There’s a gentleness in the way he leans against you, content just to be close, whether you’re playing outside or curled up together. Toven prefers a calm environment, ideally with someone home most of the time, since being by your side is his favorite thing. He’s energetic when the mood strikes, but settles easily indoors. He gets along better with women, though he does have some male human friends. Toven does not get along with dogs or cats and will need to be your only animal. This boy wants nothing more than to give all his affection to the right person. If you’ve got a soft spot for sweet, loyal sidekicks, you’ll understand why Toven captures so many hearts. Questions about Toven
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Toven, with his Saint Bernard and hound background, tends to do best in a calm and stable home with plenty of companionship. He prefers environments where his human is present most of the time, and he isn't competing with other pets.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
With Toven's mix of Saint Bernard and hound, he appreciates having access to a yard or outdoor space to burn off energy, but he spends plenty of time relaxing indoors as well.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While many Saint Bernard and hound mixes are gentle, Toven specifically bonds strongly with adults, especially women, so a quieter, adult home is likely the best fit for him.
