About Medusa
Medusa came to the rescue from Virginia after her owner died with no one left to care for her. She has settled into sanctuary life and spends most of her days quietly observing from her favorite spot. Calm comes easily to her—except around mealtime, when she perks up and seems to always know exactly when food should arrive, as if she runs on an internal clock. Loud or chaotic environments aren’t her thing; she prefers reliable routines and gentle company. She’s an adult, large mixed-breed pit bull terrier who is house trained, spayed, and current on all vaccinations. Medusa also gets along well with children. She’s currently one of the sanctuary’s permanent residents until adoption, waiting for a home where she can stick to her familiar, comforting routines. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
