About Mocha

Mocha is a 10-month-old pug mix who weighs about 17 pounds and is looking for a patient adopter to help her build confidence. She’s timid around people due to a rough start in life, but she’s a gentle soul who doesn’t bite—she’ll simply run and hide if overwhelmed. She is house-trained and crate-trained but hasn’t learned leash skills yet. Treats work well to earn her trust, especially in quiet spaces. Mocha prefers a calm, quiet home and would not do well with active or young children, but she does get along with other dogs. She doesn’t enjoy being picked up, but when she feels safe, she relaxes and enjoys gentle affection. Mocha is spayed and current on vaccines for her age. She is part of Second Chance Dog Rescue, where all dogs are cared for in foster homes. Ready to meet her? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
