Soon after arriving, Gingerbread was diagnosed with diabetes. Thankfully, he is currently in remission and does not require insulin, but he does need to remain on a consistent diet to stay healthy. Additionally, Gingerbread has a heart murmur that should be monitored every six months by a veterinarian. He is currently living in a foster home and visits can be scheduled by appointment.
