About Jasper
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Jasper, a happy-go-lucky adult German Shepherd ready to fill your home with love and playful energy! Jasper has lived comfortably with toddlers, children, and adults, making him an excellent family companion. Always eager to join in on fun, he loves to play, share affection, and will let you know when visitors arrive—he may bark with excitement but doesn't jump, welcoming new friends to play. Jasper thrives on activity and enjoys long walks or access to a big yard where he can run and play. He knows many commands and is highly obedient, making daily routines a breeze. While Jasper can be a bit barky when seeing other dogs on leash, he generally does very well with dogs once introduced, and has coexisted with canine companions before. However, Jasper is not a match for feline friends, so no cats, please. He is in excellent health and, at 8 years old, still full of energy and affection, looking for a loving family who enjoys an active and loyal companion. Jasper is currently part of an owner referral program in the Lehigh Valley, PA, and Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary is assisting with finding his perfect home. Fun fact: Jasper is a Pisces, which means he’s sure to be extra compassionate and gentle! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
