About Marmalade D

Marmalade D is an easygoing, affectionate Pit Bull mix who’s been through a lot and come out smiling. She handled raising puppies and traveling all the way from Georgia with calm and resilience. At her foster home, Marmalade blends gentle affection with a mischievous streak, making her just as good at cuddling as she is at play. She loves to snuggle up at night, insists on sleeping close, and is learning the joys of toys and bones, always willing to share without guarding. Marmalade’s polite manners shine – she takes medication without fuss and has strong bladder control, mastering potty pads while learning to walk on leash. She’s a gentle walker, rides well in the car, and feels most at ease with trusted people. Recently treated for non-contagious heartworm, she’s now cleared to live an active life but needs a calm household for her post-treatment recovery. Vet guidance is to keep her on monthly heartworm prevention and schedule a recheck nine months after finishing her treatment. She needs an adult-only, single-dog home—she does not get along with other dogs or children. Marmalade’s adoption fee has been partially sponsored. Your new best friend is just one click away.
