AvailableLorna is a small, spayed female Terrier/mixed breed with a bright, resilient spirit. She is 2 years and 10 months old and currently lives in Long Island City, NY. About Lorna
Lorna is a joyful soul who faces every day with a warrior's heart. At just under 3 years old, she’s already conquered more challenges than most ever will. Rescued in dire condition, she lost a hind leg and the mobility in her back end, yet never let hardship erase her spark. Now thriving in foster care, she zips around confidently in her custom wheelchair (yours if you adopt her). Lorna is remarkably affectionate: people are her favorite, and she’s genuinely happy around both dogs and cats. Though she is incontinent due to her injuries, she handles diapers and being expressed with practiced ease. Life asks a little more from Lorna’s people, but she gives back tenfold—with joy, playfulness, and rare resilience. If you’re looking for a companion who can light up any room, she’s waiting to meet you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
