Meet Whisper born May 2023. Whisper came to us from a feral colony in Beaumont, Tx at the tender age of 6 weeks old. Her eyes were infected and required medical attention. Her vet determined that her eyes reacted perfectly to the medication and we were able to save her eyes. Her eyes are cloudy but she can still see movement and shadows and has no issues getting around. Whisper acts like a normal, playful kitten. She likes to hide and jump out to play with anyone who happens to walk by her. She’s fun but oh so sweet. Whisper cohabitates well with other cats and likes playing with her Great Dane sister. She is great with older children. She has excellent litter manners. Whisper is FIV + which just means she has a compromised immune system. She will need her regular vet visits. This isn't contagious and is only spread by blood contact with only other cats. She does fine with other animals in her foster home. Whisper is healthy and doing great. FIV+ cats can have very long and healthy lives with good care! It's nothing to be afraid of and we are happy to provide further information.
