About Mars
Mars came in from the streets of downtown Nashville, where construction left him and his siblings with nowhere safe to return. Out of the trio, Mars took the longest to trust humans—something in his early life left him cautious. Once in foster care, though, he watched how the other cats warmed up to their foster mom, and over time, he decided to give her a chance. Now, he’s the biggest flirt of the bunch, running for bedtime treats and climbing in bed to snuggle. Mars has discovered how nice it feels to get picked up and showered with affection, and he'll happily soak up attention once he's comfortable. Mars strikes a regal pose, with classic tabby markings and a strong, athletic build. He’s playful, especially when it comes to wand toys, and always ready for a game. Adjusting to new situations takes some patience for Mars, but if given the chance, he'll bond deeply all over again. He’ll thrive in a home with another young cat, or with adopters ready for a pair of kittens. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
