About Buddy
Meet Buddy, a small Wirehaired Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger spirit. Weighing just 10 pounds and around one to two years old, Buddy thrives on affection and gentle companionship. His journey hasn’t been easy—he was hit by a car in Cleveland, Texas and needed significant surgery, but thanks to his dedicated foster family, Buddy made a strong recovery. He’s come out of it with an amazing temperament: easygoing, sweet, and happiest right in your lap. He’s fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, crate trained, and house trained. Buddy gets along well with calm dogs and cats, though he’s a bit wary of bigger, high-energy pups. He adjusts quickly in new places and loves quiet routines. Buddy is attached to his plush toys, always ready to snuggle, and enjoys sticking close throughout the day. He’s being fostered in Houston, TX, but can join a home out of state thanks to certified transport partners. There’s a $600 adoption fee and additional transport costs depending on the dog's size. A loyal, resilient companion, Buddy is ready for a home where he can keep someone company, soak up all the love, and start his new chapter. Your new best friend is just one click away.
