Their lives started rough—they only survived a house fire because they were kept outdoors, likely by backyard breeders. Since rescue, both have been trying their best to trust humans but still struggle in boarding situations with constant noise and unfamiliar faces. The stress of rotating caretakers and barking dogs doesn’t give them a chance to relax or progress as quickly as they’d like. Both girls are deeply fearful, so they need someone patient, gentle, and steady. Their perfect home would be a quiet space with a yard, where routines stay calm and love comes easy. Lucy & Rose do get along with other dogs and would most like to stay together, as they draw comfort from each other.
