About Winston
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Winston, a lively puppy with the biggest ears that are sure to win you over! His spirited and playful nature shines through, and when he's all tuckered out he loves nothing more than to cuddle up next to his person. Winston's early life is a bit of a mystery, as he was found running loose and brought to a shelter, so he's been working extra hard on learning good manners and polite play. Since arriving at Save-A-Bull, Winston has become a fast learner—he already knows sit, wait, come, and is mastering down. Treats are the key to his heart and focus! Winston enjoys daily walks and exploring the yard, always curious and soaking in his surroundings. Sometimes his curiosity leads to distraction, but training is helping him stay on track. He's outgoing, adores meeting new people with lots of affectionate face kisses, and is learning to greet calmly. Winston has enjoyed time with older children and gets along with a variety of animal housemates, including a cat (though he can be a bit too playful for feline tastes) and two dogs with different personalities. He sometimes gets nervous meeting new dogs, but with encouragement and training, his confidence is growing. His ideal family will have patience, offer plenty of play and cuddle time, and help him continue his journey as a well-mannered, loving companion. Could you be his perfect match? Start your journey together! Apply now.
