About Oscar
Oscar is a big-hearted American Bulldog with a contagious, happy energy. His signature nub tail never stops wagging, especially when he’s around people. Affectionate and goofy, Oscar thrives on connection and likes nothing more than lounging next to his humans, sneaking a bite of trail mix, or simply soaking up the company. He has impeccable manners, never begging, and always taking treats with a gentle touch. Oscar knows how to sit and shake, and he’s reliably house trained—no accidents in the house or his kennel. Meeting new people or coming in from outside sparks his excitement, but he settles down quickly and shows just how sweet-natured he is. At around six years old, Oscar is technically middle-aged, but anyone watching him play would swear he’s still a young dog at heart. A home with another playful pup of similar size could be ideal for him. He doesn’t do well with cats but gets along with children. Oscar is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s currently in a foster home in Shreveport, LA, and out-of-state adoptions with transport are available. Adoption could be the beginning of something truly rewarding for his new family. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
