Wheezy the panther is truly one of the sweetest souls in our cat room. He loves greeting visitors, happily approaching anyone who stops by, and his gentle curiosity makes every newcomer feel welcome. He previously lived with another cat and continues to be kind and respectful toward the other feline residents here. Every now and then he'll surprise you with a playful, kitten-like burst of energy, but more often than not, he's simply looking for a soft voice, a warm lap, and plenty of pets. Wheezy is living with congestive heart failure and will need daily medication to keep him feeling his best. While he doesn't know there's anything "wrong," he will require an adoptive home committed to continuing his medications and providing regular veterinary checkups. In return, Wheezy offers endless affection, quiet companionship, and the heartfelt gratitude of a cat who just wants to love and be loved.
