About Himalaya
Himalaya and her sister Appalachia were both adopted from the rescue when they were just nine weeks old. Now, a year later, Himalaya is back hoping for a real forever home — not because of anything she did, but just a change in situation. Despite growing up together, Himalaya and her sister are not a bonded pair, so they can be adopted separately or together. Himalaya gets along well with other cats and has some experience with dogs, though she’ll need time and a proper introduction with any new canine housemates. Himalaya is happiest curling up on a warm lap or chasing a feathery wand toy. Since settling in her foster home, she’s really relaxed and is ready for a quieter stage of life — her wild kitten days are behind her. She’d be content as an only cat or as a new buddy for another feline. Most of all, she’s after human affection, a good window perch, and somewhere cozy in the sun. If you’re after a gentle, affectionate tabby who loves chin scratches more than chaos, Himalaya is ready to be your low-key companion. Her adoption fee covers her spay, microchip, feline disease testing, vaccinations, deworming, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
