Nimmi is a shy girl who was found abandoned at an apartment complex. Our dedicated volunteers work with her to help her feel more comfortable around people. She will sometimes allows petting and even purrs but she mostly likes to observe from a safe distance. Nimmi likes to play with a laser pointer and hang out on her hammock. Even shy girls deserve a good loving home. Note from a volunteer: Nimmi is a very shy girl. For a long time she was terrified of everyone, she would run away if someone tried to approach her. After a bit she would let me approach her and pet her a little but she would really flinch, anticipating every touch, as if she was going to be hit. I kept petting her a little at a time, and now she really enjoys getting a back massage. She will even roll around a bit and make biscuits.
