Kira is a black, medium-coated German Shepherd who’s working to make up for lost time after her past as a backyard breeder’s dog. She’s house trained, fully vaccinated, and AKC registered. She’s undergoing slow-kill heartworm treatment, which requires her to stay calm, though it’s tough since play and movement are part of her nature. Kira gets along well with other dogs, especially those her size or smaller, but if a dog is aggressive, she’ll respond in kind. She has not lived with cats and is not a fit for homes with them.
