About Macy Gray

Macy Gray is as memorable as her name: sharp, tough, and with a real sense of humor. She came close to death during her spay surgery as a kitten when her heart stopped—she made it back, unfazed, and has been her own force ever since. Now almost three years old and visually impaired (possibly fully blind), Macy Gray doesn’t act like anything slows her down. She explores quickly, navigates confidently, and runs laps on her beloved exercise wheel—a non-negotiable in her routine. She’s vocal, energetic, and not shy about telling you when it’s snack time. Food is her passion, and she’s flexible about the format: wet, dry, just about anything catches her fancy. Her litter habits are a work in progress; she prefers washable pads in her main hangout spots and needs a patient adopter willing to accommodate her as she finds her rhythm. She loves catching scents from the outdoors and might thrive with a safe catio. Macy Gray is not after a fairytale; she just wants an adopter who appreciates a quirky, fast-moving, slightly chaotic cat who’s determined to enjoy every moment. Ready to welcome a survivor with a big personality and a need for understanding? She’s ready too. Start your journey together! Apply now.
