Shadow had been abused as a puppy. She was rescued as a stray by a very nice man. She had 6 puppies, one of whom was stolen by some neighbors. We rescued the 5 pups and her. She had to be live trapped. She is still unapproachable but we have been able to gently pet her on her back.
