Scrappy

About Scrappy
Scrappy is a textbook velcro dog—he’s happiest when he can press himself right up against his favorite humans. He’s the kind of dog who will army crawl across the room for the chance to rest his head on your lap, usually when you least expect it. At about five and a half years old, Scrappy has left his wild puppy days behind and craves a relaxed, peaceful environment. He’s agreeable and easy to walk, usually trailing closely on leash and letting you take the lead. After being surrendered with his companion Zelda (who’s since been adopted), Scrappy has shown he’s selective about canine friends. High-energy, younger dogs are not his crowd. To set him up for success, he’ll likely do best as an only dog, but a polite, mellow dog with a solid introduction might work out. Any potential home with another dog must arrange a meet and greet in advance. Born on November 6, Scrappy is a determined Scorpio—so you can count on a loyal companion who forms deep bonds.
