About Jonah
Jonah is a petite, 40-pound, two-year-old lab mix with a lot of heart and no vision. Despite being blind, he moves with a mix of caution and confidence, learning his surroundings quickly and zipping around the yard in wide circles before pulling up short just at the edge of the fence or any obstacle. It's remarkable how he senses the world—he might still have a glimmer of sight left, or just an impressive sixth sense. He’s a happy, light-on-his-feet guy who enjoys running, mapping out his space, and finding comfort in routine. Jonah recently recovered from surgery on an old forehead wound and is back to full wag. He came through a rough start in a protective custody situation, and the shelter where he's staying can’t give him the time and attention he craves. Jonah needs someone patient, caring, and willing to offer the one-on-one affection he’s ready to soak up. He gets along with other dogs, too. Give this sweet survivor a shot at a better chapter.
