About Maya
Click apply to start the adoption process. Maya is a sweet and shy girl who absolutely loves her food and has discovered a surprising passion for the doggy pool. While she’s not quite an expert swimmer yet, you can see sheer joy whenever she’s splashing around and enjoying the water to the fullest. When it comes to leash walks, Maya is still mastering her unique routine—think of it as a delightful mix of "go, lay down, stop, then go" that turns every walk into an entertaining, slow-motion dance. Her approach to walks is more of a leisurely mosey punctuated by well-deserved nap breaks, proving she’s truly focused on living in the moment. A patient adopter with a treat pouch (and maybe a few extra trips to the pool) will help Maya shine and build her confidence on walks. With time and encouragement, she’s sure to become your ultimate pool buddy and walking companion! Fun fact: Born March 27, Maya is an Aries—the sign known for enthusiasm and a love for new adventures, which certainly shows in her poolside playtime. Your new best friend is just one click away.
