Jacob is a nine-month-old tuxedo kitten with distinctive black and white markings, standing out among his orange siblings from the very beginning. Raised from an early age alongside his mother and littermates, he quickly developed a reputation for being the oddball—both in looks and personality. What's especially memorable about Jacob is his unique breathing. He emits little snorts and wheezes, especially when running around or settling into a deep purr. This is due to suspected laryngeal paralysis on one vocal cord flap. Several vets have evaluated him, and none have recommended treatment beyond monitoring. Jacob’s breathing quirks are part of his charm and aren't expected to need ongoing care. All of this doesn’t slow him down. Jacob is lively and runs with the kind of kitten energy you expect at his age—chasing, exploring, and carrying on with all the classic zoomies. He’s social with other cats, enjoys their company, and has shown a welcoming attitude toward dogs as well. He thrives with furry companions to play and groom with.
