About Junebug
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Junebug arrived with her litter of seven puppies, showing incredible motherly devotion, and is now seeking her very own forever family. This loving, medium-sized mixed breed girl is crate trained, completely housebroken, and knows how to sit and give her paw. When playing with the other dogs in her foster home, she's full of energy and loves to zoom around the yard. Keeping watch for squirrels and birds is her favorite pastime, and she makes sure no yard visitor goes unnoticed! While Junebug thrives alongside the other dogs in her foster home, she tends to play a bit rough for very small dogs like Chihuahuas, and her strong prey drive means a home without cats and smaller dogs would be best. She would be happiest in a house with a fenced yard to explore and patrol, as walks on a leash can be challenging due to her fascination with wildlife. Exceptionally loving and smart, Junebug is eager to find a family that will appreciate her playful spirit and devotion. All breed guesses are made with shelter backgrounds in mind, but one thing is for sure—Junebug is 100% rescued! Her foster home is located in Des Plaines, IL. Fun fact: Born November 6th, Junebug is a Scorpio! Scorpio dogs are known for their determination and loyalty, often bonding deeply with their families. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
