About Chowder
Chowder spent his early life as a feral cat, so heās been figuring out what it means to trust people. He isnāt looking for pets just yet, but heās awfully closeāespecially if treats are involved. He keeps a close eye on volunteers, curiosity winning out more and more as he gets used to gentle voices and calm presence. Heāll do best in a quiet home with an experienced cat owner who understands that this process canāt be rushed. Quick movements and noise rattle him, so a household without small kids suits him best. Chowder does fine with other cats, as long as he has his own space. If you have the patience to let him settle in on his terms, Chowder might just surprise you with the companion he becomes. Heās looking for someone who can let him lead the way and show him that humans arenāt so bad. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
