Meet Bridgette – Proof That Age is Just a Number Bridgette’s story could have ended before it began. When her owner passed away, her family didn’t want her and even spoke of ending her life. Thankfully, a compassionate man in a homeless community stepped in and saved her, giving her safety and love until she could find her forever home. This petite, black Chihuahua is a spunky little lady with a big heart. Though we’ve been told she’s 18 years old, we think she might be younger, her energy, zest for life, and sparkle in her eyes tell another story. She loves nothing more than cuddling up next to you, going for car rides (booster seat required so she can see the world go by!), and being part of whatever you’re doing. Bridgette is gentle, house-trained, gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and with cats, and would do well with respectful children. Her teeth are in good condition, she has no bad breath, and her loving nature makes her an absolute joy to be around. She’s looking for a family who will treasure her for the rest of her days, however many wonderful years she still has ahead. Bridgette still has so much love to give… could it be to you?
