About Whiskey

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Whisky, a charming Jack Russell Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger love for snuggling on a cozy couch. At around 5-6 years old, this little butterball recently found himself in need of a home after life as a stray, and he's quickly become a staff favorite at Russell Rescue, Inc. While a bit shy with new faces, he settles in quickly and adores the comfort of a quiet, calming environment. Whisky gets along well with other dogs who respect his space, and his love for stinky treats makes training sessions enjoyable for both of you. Leash walks are truly his favorite, and he will need a family that enjoys regular walks to help him shed a few extra pounds. He’s working hard to learn new tricks and adjusting to kennel life, earning rewards along the way. Ideally, Whisky thrives in a jack-savvy, patient home without very young children, where calm routines and cozy snuggle time are an everyday part of life. They are waiting with paws crossed!
