About Mickie
Mickie is a reserved tiger/tabby mix, around 6 years old, with a short striped coat and a gentle presence. She grew shy after a tough start—caught in a trap and left alone for a weekend before being rescued. One-on-one, Mickie is calm and enjoys subtle companionship, seeking out fellow underdog cats for quiet comfort. She gets along well with other cats, especially the overlooked ones, and is used to a mellow old dog, holding her own without fuss. She would do best in a peaceful home, ideally with someone who understands shy cats and can offer her cozy window views, a comfy condo bed, and patient affection. Mickie shouldn't be placed with young kids, as she prefers calm. Applications are only considered within 30 miles of Union County, NJ and local homes only. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who blends in rather than stands out, Mickie is worth meeting. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
