Meet Richie! Richie is a 9–12 month old mixed breed pup with a big heart and a playful streak. He’s friendly, curious, and always ready to join in on the fun. Richie has a medium to high energy level and loves being around other dogs. He’s currently part of the Rusk County Second Chance Initiative, a prison dog training program where he’s learning basic commands and good manners. Richie is neutered, heartworm negative, and doing great with his training. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but he’s shown to be affectionate and eager to please. Richie will be available for adoption once he finishes his training program. He’s a sweet, active dog who’s going to make a great companion for someone who enjoys a playful and loyal buddy.
